Mike Kimball, Co-P.I.: is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology and acting Director of the GIS Laboratory at the University of Maine-Machias. His research focuses on prehistoric maritime fishing societies and cultural change. Mike is also working on contemporary cultural issues linked to the coastal communities of Washington County, Maine. Mike will provide trainings in ethnographic research methods and support the link between CREST schools and post-secondary education opportunities.
